MATA Issues Service Alert Due to Severe Weather and Flooding
Memphis, TN – The Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) is issuing a weather-related service alert due to flooding and severe weather conditions affecting several key routes.
From now until 7:00 p.m. MATA will provide transportation service on non-essential routes, through the use of MATAplus and Ready! by MATA vans to ensure essential travel is still available during the inclement weather period.
Effective Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., fixed-route bus services will run only on the following essential routes for the safety of passengers and operators:
• Route 11
• Route 36
• Route 39
• Route 40
• Route 42
• Route 50
• Route 52
• Route 57
